The course is specifically designed to address the needs of those who want to further their knowledge about the environment and improve their guiding skills and abilities.

A person qualifies for the FGASA Level II course and the theoretical examination only if she has a full FGASA level I qualification and 260 days guiding experience.

The logbook must be signed off by the FGASA office in order to be accepted on the course.
The course is further aimed at allowing the course attendee to write the FGASA theory examination with confidence during the special FGASA Level II examination sitting scheduled at the end of the course.
